Young athletes in a basketball clinic on indoor hardwood

Where the basketball actually happens.

HoopWorks is ACT Institute's training arm: the sessions, the gym, the repetition, and the coaching staff who own what happens on the floor.

Three sessions plus film weekly

A session has a reason.

No lines, no idle dribbling, no coach talking while eight players watch. Every block has an objective and a measure we can check the following week.

01

Warm-up with intent

Movement, mobility, and handling at game speed from the first minute.

02

One objective

The whole session bends around a single thing the group is fixing.

03

Competition

Small-sided games where the objective gets tested against resistance.

04

Written takeaway

Every player leaves with one line: what we worked on and what to practise.

Every player leaves with a plan.

Not a compliment. A written development plan the athlete helps write, reviewed with a coach, and visible to the family. That is what turns a good session into a season that went somewhere.

Bring a player. We will place them honestly.

Watch a session first if you want to. Every family is invited to see how a group runs before booking a place.
