Young athletes listening to a mentor in an arena tunnel

Nobody makes it alone. That is the whole idea.

H.E.R Network is the human side of ACT: mentors who work in the field, alumni who have already walked the path, and a standing group that keeps an athlete honest about more than their jump shot.

ACT

Three circles, one network.

Membership is not a newsletter. Every circle has a person responsible for it and a rhythm you can actually feel.

01

Mentors

Working engineers, security analysts, coaches, and career counsellors who commit to real, scheduled time with a small number of athletes.

02

Alumni

Former ACT athletes who are two, five, ten years ahead. They answer the questions staff cannot answer credibly.

03

Peers

A standing group of your own cohort that meets, reviews, and calls each other out. This is the circle that holds when motivation does not.

What a mentor actually does.

One hour, every cycle

Scheduled, protected, and on the same timetable as training. Not opportunistic.

Review of real work

Your code, your film, your CV, your application. They read it before the meeting, not during it.

Introductions with context

A warm introduction to a hiring manager or an admissions office, made with something specific to say about you.

Permission to change your mind

A mentor's job includes telling an athlete when a plan no longer fits them.

01

For athletes

You are placed with a mentor inside your first four weeks, and the match is reviewed each term.

02

For families

A network of parents who have already navigated recruitment, eligibility, and the awkward middle years.

03

For practitioners

Commit four sessions a year. We handle scheduling, training, and the awkward parts.

Want in, or want to give time?

Tell us which side of the network you are on and we will make the introduction properly.

Athletes stacking hands in a huddle

The network is the point.

Training and teaching are the visible part. Who shows up for an athlete in month nine is what actually decides the outcome.
